We all know that if your blog/link is digged to first page, you get lot of trafic to your site. So now think about how much traffic your website gets, (ofcourse it all depends on quality of your article) if you sumbit your article or blog to all of these websites. See the following websites and some description from their ‘about’ page…
1. reddit
A source for what’s new and popular on the web — personalized for you. We want to democratize the traditional model by giving editorial control to the people who use the site, not those who run it. Your votes train a filter, so let reddit know what you liked and disliked, because you’ll begin to be recommended links filtered to your tastes. All of the content on reddit is from users who are rewarded for good submissions (and punished for bad ones) by their peers; you decide what appears on your front page and which submissions rise to fame or fall into obscurity.
2. shoutwire
Shoutwire is the latest community based internet news website. It allows the community rather than news editor to submit and review news content on the site. Every story on the site that makes it to the front page is due to the users of the site promoting the stories. Shoutwire incorporates a system of self-moderation and management which allows the community to remove bad or broken content.
3. slashdot
I think I no need to give any intro about this site…. This is big brother of all sites those are driven by user community…..
4. digstock
DigStock is a financial website that provides investors access to major financial news as well as user-submitted stories
5. newsvine
At Newsvine, you can read stories from established media organizations like the Associated Press as well as individual contributors from all around the world. Placement of stories is determined by a multitude of factors including freshness, popularity, and reputation. Contribution is open to all, and editorial judgement is in the hands of the community
6. tech-recipes
Originally developed as a computer cookbook, tech-recipes was brought online in October of 2003. Hundreds of thousands of visitors have received help from the over one thousand step-by-step tutorials found on the site. Most of these were authored by the large community of over two thousand users that have registered through the site.
ofcourse this is not the full list. There might be some very famous sites which we need to know. So please share your feedback and comments on this article and let me know the sites that you feel that I should include in this list.
