Dhanush, most interested in remaking his Father-in-law’s old movie Maapillai next to Ready, Dhanush is expeced to star in the remake of the former’s film Mapillai. Rajinikanth’s film Mappillai that hit the screens roughly a couple of decades ago and it was one of the biggest blockbusters of Rajini, produced by Telugu mega star Chiranjeevi and it had the gorgeous looking Amala as Rajini’s pair and Sri Vidya as his mother in law. Film sources Says this remake chance is also diced to Mithiran Jawahar.

When asking about Remaking of the movies to Dhanush he addressed that – , “I have always loved to remake this film of Rajinikanth and I know that remaking old classics is not easy and by doing so, we are not disrespecting them. There are hundreds of youngsters who have not seen the old movie. If the same story is presented in a different format with improved technology, it will appeal to them.”
